2010
Two years after the first stone was laid, the new Ors- enigo plant was opened. It occupied 50,000 square metres, doubling the quantity of cocoa beans pro- cessed and allowing the company to enter new mar- ket segments. Simultaneously new formats were launched for professional use products. A cocoa col- lection centre was set up in Uganda in the same year.
2019
Our professional and technical education centre dedicated to pastry chefs, maître chocolatiers and ice-cream artisan makers, has been inaugurated in Orsenigo under the name ChocoCube. The first Sustainability Report has been edited and published.
The Agostoni brand was born, enhancing Grand Cru, Sin- gle Origin and Organic products, and offering the most demanding chocolatiers, pastry chefs and ice-cream mak- ers unique aromatic profiles, as well as the perfect solu- tion for every creation, requirement and process.
2020
ICAM publishes the second Sustainability Report, drawn up according to the GRI standards Core option. The 2019 Sustainability Report is awarded by the Consumer Lab’s Index Future Respect 2020.
1997
ICAM was the first to launch organic choc- olate products on the market, in partnership with a co-operative of cocoa farmers in the Dominican Republic.
2004
ICAM Linea Professionale was born: a complete range of chocolate couvertures, cocoa ingredients, creams and decorations, ranging from Single-Origin choco- late to Grand Cru with dis- tinctive aromatic profiles.
